Written by EVANGELINE ORDAZ

"RECOMMENDED..." - STAGE RAW

"WOW! Azurdia’s heroic Tomas and his sweet and gentle Fidel are both gems..." - STAGE SCENE LA

" Richard Azurdia himself hits on all the right emotions... Later, Azurdia also stands-out as the hapless “Fidel”, a good-natured Mexican
Émigré..."
- BUCKING TRENDS

As Tomas, Azurdia has a great portrayal of a man who tried to do right for his village... we had Azurdia’s Fidel and his Taco Truck, which was
just a realistic and very human portrayal..."
- CA HIGHWAYS

"Richard Azurdia as Tongva chief Tomás resigns himself sadly and stoically to the forced abdication of traditional ways. But Azurdia’s own
ancient, old-soul charisma sustains the chieftain’s nobility, dignity and wisdom. "
- BROOKLYN & BOYLE

"Richard Azurdia stood out as Fidel, a recent Mexican immigrant ... and as Tomás, the Tongva village chief who has submitted himself to the
slavery-like conditions at the Spanish mission."
- PEOPLE'S WORLD

This Land spans over 150 years, four families with ancestry in different parts of the world make their

blessings, traditions and recipes, loves and betrayals travel down family lines from the 19th to the 21st
century, forcing each successive generation to ask in times of hardship, “Should I stay or should I go?”
